Registration and Diploma Hold Due to Financial Debt
If you are not able to pay your tuition, we strongly encourage you to contact our financial aid counselor at financialaid@aicusa.edu. Our dedicated team is here to support you in achieving your educational goals.
Financial Hold
- A financial hold is placed on a student’s account when the student has an account balance of $1050 or more that is 90 days past due.
- A financial hold prohibits students from registering for future courses, and obtaining their diploma.
- Students are encouraged to establish a payment plan to begin addressing the past due balance. After three-consecutive payments towards the balance are made, the hold will be removed.
- If you have a financial hold and require access to registration, diploma, or other College services, you may email registrar@aicusa.edu
The College does not want financial burdens to be a barrier to education. Please reach out to the Student Support Services Coordinator, Registrar, or Financial Aid Counselor for consultation.
Registration Appeal
A student may apply for an appeal with the registrar for a grace period in order to continue with registration. The appeal, which must be submitted at least three weeks prior to the start of the semester, will be reviewed by the Office of the Registrar and Finance Office to determine the eligibility and financial plan.
Complaints
You may file a complaint with Student Support Services at smirza@aicusa.edu or with the Attorney General’s student loan ombudsperson .
